To further our goal of creating a league of balanced teams, players will sign up as individuals, but can request to be on the same team as two of their friends. Every effort will be made to accommodate these requests, but we cannot guarantee that all can be fulfilled. Staff will work to form teams that will create competitive games and allow for individual success on the field.
Benefits from participation:
- A significant portion of the proceeds will go towards supporting scholarships for Cutters players.
- There won’t be a huge discrepancy in the size and skill ability of players in any given game.
- Players will have the opportunity to be coached by different coaches within the Cutters Soccer Club.
- Games will be played in a more realistic atmosphere (e.g., no walls).
- Players will meet and play with some new Cutters members.
The league will run for seven weeks, starting on Saturday, January 21st and running through Saturday, March 3. Games will be between 11am and 2pm. The format is [5v5], with two 20-minute halves. The first 32 players to register for each league will be accepted and thoughtfully placed into teams of 8. The season cost is $50*. Please register prior to January 14.
