Bloomington United Soccer School is provided to the Bloomington soccer community by local soccer enthusiast and youth soccer coach, Tom Berry. Tom grew up playing and learning the game of soccer in the early stages of the Bloomington soccer scene that is known today as the Cutters Soccer Club. Tom’s interest and love for soccer was fostered by the numerous volunteers and coaches that shared their passion for the game during his youth soccer experience. After growing up playing club soccer year-round, Indiana ODP and college soccer (Indiana University), Tom discovered coaching to be a wonderful way to remain connected to the game by sharing it with the communities youth.
In addition to conducting skill training and technical development at B.U.S.S., Tom is also the Director of Coaching and Player Development for the Cutters Soccer Club (www.cutterssoccer.org). In 2006 Tom was named the Indiana Youth Soccer Association’s Director of Coaching Of The Year and was again a finalist for the award in 2010. Tom holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, a USSF National Youth License and the NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma.
